Mango recovery smoothie

Smoothies are perfect after a tough training session. I used to drink a smoothie after my marathon training sessions.

I am always using the same fruit for my smoothies, so I asked my friend Veerle for some advice to improve my post workout smoothies. This smoothie works well for breakfast or you can take it as a post workout snack, like I do! No doubt that green smoothies are delicious and also speed your recovery.


  • 1 mango
  • 150 gram pineapple
  • 200 gram spinach
  • soya milk

Cut the mango and pineapple into cubes and put them in the blender. Add soya milk until the fruit is completely covered with the milk. Mix the ingredients into a smoothie. Then add the spinach and mix it again. You can use fresh spinach or frozen spinach. I prefer the frozen spinach, because it makes the smoothie cold! Enjoy!
